Hedge | גדר חיה

The settlements in the West Bank are not merely physical structures; they are tools designed to erase and redefine the border established by the Green Line. I grew up in one of these settlements, where the concept of boundaries was instilled in me as something both ever-present and yet elusive. These borders were not absolute; they were fluid, shifting with the political winds, often invisible yet deeply felt.

Hedge | גדר חיה  is an artistic exploration of this ambiguous, erased border. It is a search for the Green Line that no longer exists as a clear demarcation but lingers in the collective memory and in the contested landscapes of the region. Through this work, I seek to capture the tension between the visible and the invisible, the defined and the undefined—a reflection of the complex reality of borders in a land where boundaries are constantly contested and reimagined.
